I am a painter, graphic artist, and illustrator, who studied art in Denmark before moving to the UK to continue my studies and develop my career. I have built up experience of a range of techniques and styles, including children's books, black and white drawing, and large scale observational oil paintings.
I have been working as a University Technician, loving to work with plant and insect welfare in controlled environments. I have also been working as a beekeepers assistant during this time. Iām currently teaching drawing to young children, mostly mentoring children with ADHD and anxiety.
I have produced a wide range of bespoke educational illustrations used for online anatomy and biology classes, creating content that is both scientifically correct and approachable to younger learners.
I love to draw the fantastic, the (darkly) humorous, and I am drawn to the wonders of detail and expression. My black and white drawings make use of a technique using self-made pens cut from natural reeds, which allows me to connect with my work in an especially personal way.
